  I came here as I was in the area and had read the reviews. It was 12 o clock when I arrived on a Friday afternoon and it started to get busy around 1, always a good sign.
  
  The lady who served me was very friendly smiley and sweet n helped me choose my dish.
  
  The location is in an outdoor mall complex, so plenty of parking.  The inside of the restaurant was clean, as was the bathroom.
  
  Prices are reasonable and plenty of choice.  I really enjoyed my dish, it was a huge portion, fresh and tasty, I will come back and try another dish for my next visit.

  This place is my go-to place for Filipino food. Once in a while we do dine-in, but most of the time my family and I usually to take-out. There are only a few Filipino restaurants in the area, but not always good, but this place is one of the better places for Filipino food. If you want the BBQ, sometimes you may want to go early as they can run out easily.
  
  We had ordered:
  - shanghai lumpia: the eggroll with ground pork, shrimp, onions, and carrots. This tasted fresh and crispy.
  - longanisa: Filipino sausage.
  - pancit bihon: stir-fry rice noddles with pork and shrimp and vegetables. with added calamansi on top.
  - chicken sisig: a sizzling hot grilled chicken and vegetables on a somewhat cast-iron plate.
  - lechon kawali: one of my favorites. very crispy and savory deep fried pork belly. Dipping it in the special sauce is a must!
  - Langka: another one of my favorites! Having this is always must! Its a jackfruit simmered in coconut milk with pork and shrimp. I am not very fond of coconut; however, I do not taste much of the coconut in this dish.  
  
  Sometimes it might be better to make a reservation when coming here because the last time I went, they were not very busy; however, most of the tables had been reserved. possibly for a party later that afternoon.

  So me & my mom came here because my Dad, who had been recovering in the hospital from heart surgery, wanted to eat Filipino food for the first time in a long time. So I was able to benefit and eat some as well. We had Filipino BBQ sticks, Garlic rice, Pancit and Lumpia.  
  
  I believe the Lumpia is sourced from multiple places as sometimes it's the flaky exterior and then sometimes in the more egg-roll like exterior, both are good but for those who are precise in their Lumpia preferences just know that it's hit or miss if you like one versus the other. The BBQ sticks were good and at a reasonable price at $1.50 for each.  Pancit Bihon was a little too saucy but still had good flavor and the garlic rice was a nice touch but they add soy sauce to it and as tons of Filipinos just use garlic, oil and the rice itself with maybe a pinch of salt the soy sauce may come as a bit of a surprise. Whether it's a good surprise or a bad surprise that's up to each individual patron.
  
  Overall, I like the vibe of the restaurant, the service was great and it's nice to be around fellow Filipinos as I eat. I look forward to trying other dishes and overall I had a very very good experience which is why I'm giving a strong 4-star rating. Next time I'll go after the Kare Kare.

  Brought my family here, as they were looking for a Filipino restaurant to eat at every city we visit.  Found this place on yelp and decided to try it as opposed to other nearby Filipino restaurants from yelp reviews and a previous family member that ate here.  Ordered the pancit canton, pork liempo, and white rice for dinner on a Saturday night.  I've had this order numerous occasions at other Filipino restaurants in other cities, states, and even in Manila, Philippines, itself.  I didn't find the flavors to be anything out of the ordinary and the pork liempo was too fatty and not crisp enough for me.  They ran out of turon.  I don't think I'll be back to this particular Filipino restaurant, as I was expecting this establishment to be the best of the Ft Lauderdale area.

  MANILA GRILL is 100% my go-to Filipino Food when I need some Filipino fix in my life. My mom lives nearby so she comes here often and is also a regular for dine-in, take-out or pick-up. We love it here! This is our spot whenever we need to bring family from out of town who are also craving for Filipino food. Food here is authentic and you will feel like being teleported to the Philippines when you take your first bite of their dish.
  
  Tucked in a plaza along Pembroke and Flamingo Road, parking is always easy. We always call ahead for our orders since everything is made to order and some dishes takes time to cook. It saves your waiting time once seated inside! It's always busy especially on the weekends but service is always good. Staff are always friendly, attentive and courteous, and the ambience inside is perfect for all your conversations. They always look happy and welcoming to see patrons come in for their genuine Filipino dishes. There is also a TV on the wall playing Filipino teleserye or some popular Filipino game shows from the Philippines.
  
  ~ Sinigang na Baboy (Pork Sour Soup) - one of my faves, always piping hot, extra tamarind for extra sour, tender pork, perfectly cooked okra
  ~ Tortang Talong (Eggplant Omelette) - very good, will eat this everyday if I can, my all time favorite
  ~ Crispy Pata (Deep Fried Pork Leg) - crispy and crunchy, dip it on the brown sauce for total enjoyment
  ~ Lumpiang Shanghai (Filipino Pork Spring Roll) - deep fried, ground pork, ask for chili or sweet & sour sauce to dip, not my fave here, I've had better ones but it's just me
  ~ Pancit Canton (Filipino Stir Fried Noodles) - delicious and generous on shrimps, pork and veggies, spritz some calamansi on top for added excitement
  ~ Sizzling Bangus Sisig (Milkfish on a Sizzling Plate) - my aunt's favorite, flavorful, fun, garlic and chicharron adds to the overall excellent delight
  ~ Beef Steak - cool twisted version with garlic, tender beef, still love the original soy sauce w onion version
  ~ Cassava Cake - cassava on coconut and condensed milk, yum yum yum, love love love
  ~ Halo Halo - my mom's all time favorite Filipino dessert, crushed ice w evaporated milk, flan, sweet beans, fruit slices, ice cream, ube, really recommendable, can come here just for this
  
  There are only few Filipino Restaurants here in South Florida and you can literally count them with just one hand (no kidding). This right here, MANILA GRILL is my favorite in Broward County - the best, the tastiest and real authentic Filipino food overall. They are like your extended Filipino kitchen and family in town. I am already looking at my schedule when I can come back next!
